Nice stories and examples. The kindle version does not have page numbers, just locations.
I do enjoy the kindle search, copy and highlight.
This book is well-written -- simple and with many anecdotes to support the author's premise. The quotes throughout are throught-inspiring. In a time where everyone is about bottom-line and accountability, it is refreshing to have someone pointing out that the answers are already at your fingertips and the people who are already involved have insights that management would do well to be leaders who value that insight.
Excellent resource manual. Now i can return the copy that I borrowed from a friend.

I've known and worked with Doug for over 15 years throughout government and am always inspired by his insight and simplicity into what is essential in leadership. This new book helps shed light on the missing pieces of leadership which are mindset and the ability to instill and sustain trust in organizations. In my work coaching government leaders what I often encounter are excuses about why we can't do something and why people aren't willing to get on board with needed change. The stories in this book around taking the "T" out of "Can't" and the necessity of building trust in a leader before change can occur provide valuable insights for leaders. I highly recommend this book for any leader who is serious about leading.

Leadership books are a dime a dozen and rarely present practical applications that can be utilized immediately. This book is not filled with ideas, it is filled with leadership laws. Mr. Krug has written something unique because it is based on his extensive leadership experiences with clients that range from the FBI to General Motors. He has worked with leadership teams from the widest range of industries I have ever seen. His insights are not theories, they are universal and grounded by a lifetime of work. If you are not a C Level executive this book might be your ticket to the big time. If you are a C Level executive read this book, have your entire executive team read it and then get it into all of your manager's hands. I wish I had of known this information twenty years ago!!! I was fortunate, after reading this book, to see Doug Krug speak live. That experience is something I also recommend highly.
